Pig Tails

TSG (the sweet girl for those just tuning in) hasn't had a haircut yet. I love the bob, but Daddy loves pig tails. So we'll have pig tails for awhile. They really show off that precious face! I wore pig tails until I was in 3rd grade and my mom even put a pink sponge roller in each one to make sure they turned under... if only I had the ability to scan in pictures I would include one.

Visit from friends

JD and her 2 kids came to visit last weekend and it was a special treat. The best part of all was that I get to have some of her AMAZING photos to don on my blog. Well, the Cocoa Pebbles she brought were also pretty special. The afternoon that she had left, Lover went looking in the pantry to see if she accidentally left them... I said, "no way, she's pregnant, she didn't forget THOSE!" I enjoyed having them and wish we'd do it more! It's hard to have such good connections with friends in town, but am developing some slowly. I've lived in Atlanta 8 years now and only lived "with" JD on the ranch for 6 months (b/c she arrived later than the rest of us - ha ha!).

I love the picture of the children playing bc it shows everything Nucky is into right now... beans (loved pouring them in her tea set), Memory and dollhouse.

Lover says the Varsity picture should be an advertisement for them. What fun!

Nice weather?

We left for church and it was about 45 degrees and rainy. We came out of church to giant snowflakes and a good accumulation. It was fun to play in the snow for most children except for our "quirky one" who preferred to sit in the rocking chair like a princess and watch. She didn't like the snow on her hair and face b/c it melted and made her wet.

Nice weather

We've been enjoying some nice weather! TSG tried to help Daddy wash his car but decided the spray water tasted better. Nucky is enjoying her tricycle more and more... though she is old enough to ride a bike, she is not at all interested. It has taken much time to even get her interested in the trike. TSG would ride a bike now if I'd let her... they're so different.
